Dragons Dogma is a title that hasn’t been receiving a lot of recognition lately. Any recognition that it might receive gets it compared to that of Monster Hunter. Early on, I too compared the game to Monster Hunter, and began to wish that Capcom would do a large budget multiplatform edition of Monster Hunter. But after witnessing the two hour presentation the developers of Dragons Dogma put out, at the Capcom Unity. I am completely sold on the game being its own take on the popular Monster Hunter franchise; In fact, I’ll go one step forward and say it will be probably be better than Monster Hunter.
The sheer amount of things to do in this game is astonishing. The fact that you can loan your own character out to other people to help them complete quest just fascinates me. I wish something like this would have been implemented within Dark Souls. The fact that these “Pawns” as their called, can give you key information on creatures within the world just blows my mind. I’m not trying to sound like some glorified hype artist, but for heaven’s sake watch the entire two hour demonstration below. And just an added bonus here’s is one of the most amazing fights from the two hour stream below.
