Guess Who’s Back? Gat’s Back In Agents Of Mayhem!

Johnny Gat is back in Agents of Mayhem (and this time, he’s not a zombie or in hell!).

For those who might’ve dismissed Saints Row as a simple GTA clone (shame on you!), we first saw Johnny Gat in the original game as a loyal member of the 3rd Street Saints. Gat amassed a cult following of players making him a popular character in the gaming world.

Now, Volition has decided to add him to Agents of Mayhem, giving players the opportunity to finally play as the infamous gangster. Considering that AOM occurs in the same universe as Saints Row, it’s the perfect crossover! Here’s how Gat ended up in Volition’s newest venture:

The “Have God re-create the Earth and retcon the entire world of Saints Row” ending of Saints Row: Gat out of Hell means that the dead don’t stay dead. Johnny is back where he was born – Seoul. Gat’s been hard on the beat in this universe as a Lieutenant in Seoul’s police department, but the tragic events of Devil’s Night left Johnny in a coma. After awakening almost a year later, Johnny discovers that all of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency have been wiped out and replaced with C.O.P (Civilian Overwatch Patrol) robot units. Johnny hates robots, loves guns, and his reputation for wanton destruction makes him the perfect fit for MAYHEM.

What’s the catch? The Johnny Gat character is only available as an exclusive DLC which can be obtained by pre-ordering the game at GameStop. PC players can get Gat by pre-ordering Volition’s next open world venture on Steam.

Agents of Mayhem will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 15th.
