New Rendering Features in Unigine 2012

Unigine has started to rise in popularity amongst most Indie game developer. And for some the, ‘go to’ engine when it comes to creating video games and 3D environments.  Unreals Unreal Development Kit (UDK) and Cryteks CryENGINE still have a commanding lead over Unigine in terms of games published.

But today that may change following a huge update that has been released for their rendering engine. They’ve added an astounding 33 new features to the rendering engine, some I thought were already available, but I was mistaken.

I could go over each one of these updates and explain to you what they mean, but I believe the video they’ve provided via their YouTube page will do a better job at explaining that than me. Check out the video below and the list of features now available in Unigine rendering engine.
