Wizard World

Wizard World Comic Con announces 17 event locations for 2018 including 6 new locales.

On Tuesday, convention company Wizard World made public the event list for 2018 dates.  Next year’s lineup includes 17 locations across the United States. In addition to eleven of the same locations as last year, six new destinations have been added. The recently added cities are Montgomery, Alabama, Boise, Idaho, Biloxi, Mississippi, Peoria, Illinois, Springfield, Missouri, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Wizard World hosts conventions celebrating comics, gaming, toys, art, collectibles and all things geek.  Wizard World events are popular destinations for fans interested in participating in cosplay, hearing panels and witnessing celebrity appearances.

John D. Matta, Wizard World CEO said of the 2018 shows:

“The confirmed portion of Wizard World’s 2018 schedule combines many of the cities which have proven most attractive to fans with some new markets that we believe will embrace us similarly. In moving five of our more recently announced shows to 2018, we are better equipped to put on the kind of successful pop culture celebration that our fans have come to expect.”
