Turtle Beach Enters VR Gaming Audio with STEALTH 350VR

Turtle Beach STEALTH 350VR gaming headset

Coinciding with the release of PlayStation VR, Turtle Beach is introducing the STEALTH 350VR gaming headphones. The STEALTH 350VR headset is built specifically for VR devices.Aside from the audio quality that Turtle Beach is known for, the ergonomic design provides for clearance of VR headsets and cables. The combination of VR headset and headphones can be quite the balancing act while gaming. These VR channels will allow for a better integration between the two devices.

The STEALTH 350VR uses large 50mm over-ear speakers to reproduce 3D sound from the PlayStation VR and other VR devices. The ear cushions with fabric wrapped memory foam provide a comfortable fit. The detachable noise-cancelling microphone allows for chat, while Mic Monitoring relays your own voice to the inside of the headset. A single charge of the headset will allow for over 30 hours of amplified game and chat audio. The variable bass boost will enhance lows, adding depth to VR gaming audio. Additionally there are interchangeable cables to swap between the PlayStation VR, PS4 Pro, PS4, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Included in the press release, Turtle Beach spoke on how they see the 350VR integrating into the VR landscape:

“We also know gamers are already going to be wearing a VR device on their head, so we developed the STEALTH 350VR to be lightweight, and gave it fabric-wrapped, memory foam ear cushions and designed it to fit comfortably around the VR devices. VR is an exciting new market, and the STEALTH 350VR is another great example of how we leverage our heritage as audio experts to create innovative new products that provide gamers with the best possible experience.”

The STEALTH 350VR, priced at $79.95 will be available at participating retail outlets on October 9th. Pre-orders for the headset are available now at the Turtle Beach website.
