Good news for fans of the Tales series! Namco Bandai, the publisher responsible for bringing Tales of Xillia to the US, has announced that the game will be arriving August 6th of this year, and that a collectors edition will be available. These will be exclusively available for the PS3, so Xbox owners are going to be out of luck this time.
The collector’s edition will feature limited edition packaging, a Milla Maxwell figure, an art book, and a CD with the game’s soundtracks. As well as the game itself, of course.
This is undoubtedly good news, as the JRPG fans I know are also some of the most avid purchasers of collectors edition merchandise. Heck, I’m not even huge on figures and soundtracks, but that art book is sounding pretty nice.
Tales of Xillia is already one of the games on my summer list. Maybe this will convince a few more of you to do the same.
