In the ‘age of collector’s editions,’ it was only a matter of time before the anticipated Rise Of The Tomb Raider got its own version.
So in usual collectors edition fashion, the Rise of the Tomb Raider Collector’s Edition has been announced and can only be purchased directly from the developer; in this case, Square Enix. The collector’s bundle can be purchased from their e-store here, or the official Tomb Raider store. So far we only have the Xbox One version available, and the game will drop on PS4 during Holiday 2016 and PC in early 2016.
As usual, the game comes along with a goodie-bag of collector items. The game itself comes in a limited edition steel book case, along with a 12-inch statue of Lara wielding her ice-pick and flare. There is also a model of the Jade Necklace which was her famous first discovery. Likely the most unique and interesting item in the bundle, is the journal replica. The journal is an exact copy of Lara’s in-game journal, bound to have a leather look.
Xbox 360 and Xbox One users will be able to get the Rise of the Tomb Raider Collector’s Edition on November 10th, 2015. If you do not own an Xbox One or Xbox 360, or do not wish to purchase the game twice, you will have to wait until 2016 for your copy.
