Suda51’s Let It Die Gets a Gallery of Gory Screenshots

New screenshots have dropped for Suda51’s new free-to-play title, Let It Die. Consider our fancies tickled.

There’s seven new screenshots up for viewing pleasures, so head over here to check out the gallery in its full glory. Let It Die, which will be coming exclusively to PlayStation 4 as a free-to-play title, is a classic beat ’em up with over-the-top action. Players, after customizing their character, will be dropped into a world with no clothes or weapons except for a gas mask. The only way to progress throughout the game is to beat up other players and loot their items.

However, the multiplayer aspect won’t work in a traditional sense. Let It Die uses a somewhat unique system instead. Whenever your character dies, he/she will reappear in another player’s game and will behave based on data gathered on the player’s actions. The goal of the game? To become the best in the world, obviously. This type of mindset was the driving motivation for Travis Touchdown, the main character of Suda51’s other game, No More Heroes, so it makes sense it’s implemented here.

Along with the main game, a mobile app will also be released that will allow players other ways to interact with the game. Aside from taking gear from players, Suda51 has hinted that there will be other ways to obtain supplies.

Put some pants on, man!

Looking at the screenshots and gameplay trailers that have already surfaced, one can see that this is going to be an action packed and bloody game, which fits in with the fight for survival theme.

Suda51’s other efforts have always been over the top and pretty bloody, however there’s scant detail on the story structure of Let It Die. the developer mentioned in an interview back in 2014 that Let It Die represents a departure from his usual style. In other words, it may lack a overarching storyline and other gameplay aspects that have become synonymous with Suda51 games.
