Without even being released worldwide yet, Dark Souls 3 already has an important announcement pending for followers of the sun.
As most of America waits for the chance to kindle a brand new bonfire, publisher Bandai Namco apparently has something of size to announce tomorrow. This heads up from the official UK Twitter account for the company sounded the first flare:
We have some big #DarkSouls news tomorrow – stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/3WscLpVmJk

Not long after that, a second tweet went on to clarify that this news “won’t contain any spoilers don’t worry, it’s not about the game!” The United Kingdom is also waiting until April 12 for Dark Souls 3 to fully release, but the likelihood of this announcement being related to the game’s release seems low just four-days-and-change from the finish line.
What this could have to do with is the content of the season pass Dark Souls 3 has attached to its name – the first for the series. Some chunks of factoid are already floating around about the content, such as being two, possibly related parts that will be along the lines of former DLC offerings from From Software. For a lot of fans, that’s nothing but good news as areas such Bloodborne’s Old Hunters and Dark Souls 2’s Crowns trio are seen as highlights of already stellar action-RPGs. Should the announcement news be anything substantial, you can bet it’ll be reported here. Until then:
