Revelations Producer Wants to See more Resident Evil Titles Come to The 3DS

If Resident Evil Revelations Producer Masachika Kawata gets his way we may see more RE titles come to the Nintendo 3DS. This really should come as no surprise seeing as how Revelations did very well on the charts, and it got great reviews. However the game also took a very long time before it came out, as it was announced 2 years before its final release date.

Kawata was recently interviewed by IGN, and in that interview he revealed that all of this positive reaction to the game from both fans and media, has motivated him to make a new resident evil title for the Nintendo 3DS.

“The incredibly positive fan reaction to Revelations has definitely given me motivation to make another 3DS RE title,” Kawata told us in an interview. “I have some ideas in mind. However, I have a lot of other projects that need to be taken care of first.”

“I must admit,” Kawata continued, “Hearing players say how much they enjoyed Revelations does kind of make me want to forget the other projects and get stuck right into making another RE game for fans to enjoy (laughs).”

If you have played Revelations what do you think? Would you be interested in playing another Resident Evil game on the 3DS let us know.
