Darrin
Wrapped up a second (or third) playthru of DuckTales Remastered, finally starting up Alan Wake (thanks, Steam Sale!) in the coming week. Looking forward to all the news from Gamescom too!
Jeff:
I’ve been busy with gaming lately, playing through Grand Theft Auto IV, Resident Evil 6, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and spending time with my new Vita. It’s been a pretty good week, all things considered.
Arnell:
Downloaded and beat Ducktales Remastered. My childhood was satisfied. Went back and played through Runner2 since the Good Friends DLC came out for the Wii U. Using Invisible Commander Video is a challenge, ha. And I’m still working my way through Mario & Luigi Dream Team. Still charming.
Billy:
Still playing Defiance on my PC. I am still having a blast running around the bay area hunting arkfalls, crushing pursuits, and finishing contracts. Gotta be ready for the DLC dropping on the 20th.
Jen:
Since I have an XBL gold account, I was able to download Dead Rising 2 and Case Zero for free. I didn’t play much of Dead Rising 2 since I was tired so I switched over to Crackdown and blew a few things up before going to sleep. I also got some time in with my imperial agent in Star Wars the Old Republic. I’ve started to play Memoria via Steam. I should have my review of that point and click RPG by the end of the week. I’m waiting for Saints Row IV to drop. Cannot wait to play it!
Ben:
Dove head first into Spelunky since it finally came out on pc and … it is so good I’m almost speechless about it. Every time I get to a point where I think I’m done and want to just quit the game for good, I’m drawn back in for more. It’s the Dark Souls of adventure platformers and I love it. During the weekend I played a bunch of the FF14 beta. After enjoying the previous beta, I was really looking forward to this and it didn’t disappoint. I’m still not sure exactly what it is about it that makes me like it so much. Maybe it’s the ability to play it entirely with a controller or that I don’t have to run back to town every 10 minutes just to clear my inventory of junk. Regardless, I’m all preordered and ready to go for the head start this coming week.
