Mortal Kombat XL Announced, Includes All Previous Content & DLC

It appears Mortal Kombat is taking the Street Fighter approach to releasing games, with the recently announced  Mortal Kombat XL.

Mortal Kombat XL, published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, will hit stores on March 1st for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will include every fighter, Kombat Pack, and all DLC from Mortal Kombat X. For anyone who didn’t buy the initial game and corresponding bonus content, it’s time to jump for joy because you will be able to own all the Mortal Kombat action on one disc. There’s still no word on any plans for a PC release.

Every fatality, horror movie star, classic Kombatant, and X-Ray will be at the player’s disposal, allowing them to fulfill any gore-like fantasy imaginable. With Mortal Kombat X still less than a year old it’s interesting to see this “GOTY” package released so soon. If the world is ready…don’t be surprised when you see Mortal Kombat XXL by the end of 2016.
