Batman The Telltale Series Now Available For iOS Devices

Good news for iOS device owners! Batman The Telltale Series is now available for iPhones, iPods, and iPads.

Want more good news? The first episode, Realm of Shadows, is free. Forever. How cool is that? And to ensure smooth sailing for a broader range of iOS devices, TellTale also released a new update which includes significant technical improvements.

Here’s what to expect in Realm of Shadows

Bruce Wayne discovers his father was in fact a ruthless crime boss, forcing him to question everything he thought he knew about his identity. As both Bruce and Batman, players must negotiate harsh political realities and prevent Gotham City from descending into chaos while digging into the truth about the Wayne family’s sordid past. The decisions players make across Batman The Telltale Series then optionally carry over into the ongoing second season, Batman: The Enemy Within.

And to make the characters come to life, Telltale and Warner Bros went out of their way to pick up talented voice-over actors:

  • Troy Baker as Bruce Wayne
  • Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent
  • Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale
  • Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth
  • Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon
  • Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone
  • Jason Spisak as Oswald Cobblepot
  • Dave Fennoy as Lucius Fox
  • Anthony Ingruber as John Doe
  • Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle

iOS players can finally play catch up with console owners as Batman The Telltale Series is the first of two (thus far) seasons. The second season, Batman: The Enemy Within, is now available through a Season Pass disc (or digitally) for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners.

Better late than never, right?
