Macken Movie Update – Tekken: Blood Vengeance

TEKKEN!

A full feature length animated film for the popular video game franchise, was announced today by Namco Bandai for a upcoming Summer release. The film is being produced by Digital Frontier (Resident Evil: Degeneration), from a screenplay by Dai Sato (Cowboy Bebop). With an intention to make a successful silver screen adaptation for the Franchise.

As a result the Tekken-creator Katsuhiro Harada is urging all fans of the franchise, to blank there memory of the flop of there last straight-to-DVD movie attempt. Especially since the latest 3D animation will be directed by Youichi Mouri, who is responsible for Tekken 5 and 6’s opening scenes.
