Wanna be less excited about mortal kombat legacy than before?
Well then its good news for you, because we have a first clip of the web series.
Mortal kombat has never been done particular well on the silver screen, and its looking like its not gonna start now. Kevin Tancharoen’s web series if fast approaching, and from this clip I just don’t think it can deliver. But you know maybe I’m wrong, and I hope I am. Because it breaks a gamers heart when there are a barrage of disappointing movies. Movies that hype themselves up and then stomp on the games they source from.
In my opinion I think that id like to see a mortal kombat film, done like that of Scott pilgrim vs the World. Finding a balance between cheesy and dull. But that’s hard to do with certain games. Maybe what we really need to do, is put the Mortal Kombat series to rest. Leave it off the silver screen for good, and let the games stand for the franchise.
