Gamescom 2012 | Star Trek Video & Screenshots

Based off of the 2009 Star Trek movie from J. J. Abrams, comes the video game based within the same universe, not to be mistaken for the original Star Trek series. NAMCO BANDAI and Digital Extremes are the ones behind this game that will take fans of the series up against the Gorn, the lizard race that first appeared in the 1960’s Star Trek TV show.

Star Trek will feature the voice talent from the 2009 movie, Chris Pine (Kirk) and Zachary Quinto (Spock), as they work together in this co-op game, exploring the Enterprise as well as far off planets. Digital Extremes (Bioshock 2) has created this game from the ground up to bring the best co-op experience possible.

Take a look at the trailer and screenshots below, straight from Gamescon 2012. Star Trek is set to be released early 2013 for the PC and console systems.
