Welcome back to the RESISTANCE! On March 29th, 2011, Insomniac held a Community Day in Hollywood, CA. I got a chance to not only play Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One, but I was able to chat with Dom Batts and Marcus Smith of Insomniac. Marcus Smith is the Creative Director of Resistance 3 and Dom Batts is a designer on the multi-player portion of the game. I was very, very, very impressed with the demo I was able to play. Everything that is great about Resistance has become even better. Graphically the game looks amazing and it’s not even close to the finished product, and game-play wise the game is extremely smooth to play and really enjoyable. The multi-player was awesome! Insomniac added weapon upgrades, special abilities, and new game modes. The game was really well balanced and fast pace. The player capacity has gone down to 8 vs 8, but that does not make it any less fun. Resistance 3 will be release in September 2011 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Make sure you reserve your copy, this game is already great.
