Digital Storm announced that they too will be entering the arms race of building a Steam Machine designed specifically to work with SteamOS, and their idea of gaming in the living room. Digital Storm is one of the few competitors to Dell computers and their AlienWare brand specifically designed to target PC gamers.
Digital Storm, while at face value may offer similar customizeable features like Alienware. Digital Storm still manages to feel like your calling an old tech buddy up for advice, even though they’ve become a fairly large company over the years, supplying people with awesome gaming machines and soon to be Steam Machines.
We met with Digital Storm a few years ago during CES though I can’t remember exactly which CES it was. I’m happy to see that some of their ideas have come to fruition and they’re able to provide a service that has been lacking for long time from most PC vendors.If you wanna check out more about this new entry in Digital Storm’s lineup. You’ll have to wait until CES 2014 where they’ll be on display and we can get down to exactly what makes this machine different from the other iterations entering the production phase.
