DC Announces Infinite Crisis PC Game

DC has announced today that they are working on a MOBA style PC game based on the extremely epic Infinite Crisis storyline.

The story involves a collision between multiple DC Universes. This allows multiple versions of your favorite characters to play on the same battlefield. Nightmare Batman? Sure. Gaslight Catwoman? Sure. Also, many many more. The game is being developed by Turbine, who previously developed many fremium games including Lord of the Rings Online. Scheduled for a 2013 release. We don’t really have much more information, but watch the trailer below and enjoy!

 

The game looks cool, it’s ambitious. It’s a great idea, but the key will be in the implementation. There’s quite a few MOBAs out on the market, and Turbine has quite the challenge up ahead for themselves. But Infinite Crisis is a really great story, and there’s plenty of material and characters to use. Here’s hoping it turns out fantastic. And dibbs on Nightmare Batman.
