Epic Games is Giving Away Paragon on PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus members who have been wanting to get into Paragon might finally have a decent incentive this July. Epic Games will be providing all PS Plus members this month with a free Paragon Starter Pack.

The kit includes Early Access to the Closed Beta as well as Master Challenges for three of the game’s 16 heroes–Murdock, Rampage, and Gadget. These Master Challenges unlock exclusive Challenger Skins and permanent Hero Level XP boosts for the three heroes. Each challenge provides an additional Master Skin and taunt for the character when players complete a Master Challenge. The Starter Pack also comes bundled with a 3-Win rep boost to jumpstart new players.

For those who are just now hearing about Paragon, the MOBA is the latest project by Epic Games, developer of the Unreal Tournament and Gears of War series. The Starter Pack marks the beginning of an entire month of events for Paragon players, some of which will unlock additional skins and XP. More information is available on their blog post and on their YouTube channel.

Paragon is still in Early Access, but the game will be launching a free Open Beta for PS4 and PC users starting August 16th. PC players who want to enter the Closed Beta will have to purchase the one of the Founder’s Packs, which starts at $19.99. Doing so also lets them invite a friend to join in the Early Access. Paragon is also continuing to add new heroes every three weeks to their roster. Patch 27.1 brought with it the hero Khaimera, who we covered here.

Other games in the July 2016 PlayStation Plus include Furi and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell for the PS4 as well as Prince of Persia: Revelation for the PS Vita.
