Console gamers will be happy to know that playing games on their phone has just been made easier, thanks to MOGA’s addition of a new Pro Controller to their Mobile Gaming System peripherals.
Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today, the MOGA Pro provides players a more robust version of their original pocket-sized, lightweight version. Closely resembling the design of an Xbox controller, the Pro offers more precision and stability with its full-sized grips, dual analog sticks, 4 buttons, the traditional D-pad, two shoulder buttons, two shoulder triggers, rechargeable batteries and tablet stand.
The price is to be determined for the latest addition to the MOGA line, which currently provides hardware, MOGA Enhanced Games and an integrated app that makes transforming Android phones into a gamer’s very own all inclusive hand-held game system. The MOGA Arm is attached to the middle of the controller, and extended to secure a device up to 3.2 inches wide. A selection of over 50 games have been optimized by game developers for play on the MOGA system, including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Sonic 4 Episode II, The Dark Knight Rises HD, and Jet Set Radio.
Eric Bensussen, President of MOGA manufacturer PowerA, is excited to bring a truer-to-console experience to fans of mobile games.
“The response to our MOGA pocket-sized controller from Android gamers has been fantastic, and we’re now excited to give mobile gamers true, console-style control with MOGA Pro. Now more than ever, mobile gamers will feel at home with a traditional controller while playing the huge variety of games available on the MOGA Mobile Gaming System.”
The controller is slated for release sometime this spring. Check out additional pics of the MOGA Pro below, and visit the MOGA Facebook page for more info on their line of products.
