Pillars of Eternity Comes to Consoles This Fall

Announced with an exciting trailer, Pillars of Eternity  will be making its way to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 29th, 2017.

While the move to consoles allows new players, the game that is making the jump is not the standard version of the game. The Complete Edition will be coming to consoles, meaning incoming players will have access to all previously released DLC and updates.

The game features incredible talent, written by some of the best writers in video games, including Chris Avellone. His previous work spans Knights of the Old Republic, Prey, the Fallout series, and more. A peek into his mind can be found, here.

The game’s initial launch on PC was met with extremely high praise. This has left fertile ground for the new addition of the console audience.

Previous coverage of Pillars saw its similarities to other games, such as Baulder’s Gate, which you can read about, here.

Will you be making your way into the full-fledged console-friendly launch this August? Or, has the heat of the summer replaced your gaming needs with poolside fantasies? Let us know in the comments, below.
