During its official launch and probably aiming to convince the undecided, Dark Souls 3 offers a brand new and captivating trailer every Dark Souls fan and rookie should watch.
Today is the day all followers of the Dark Souls saga were waiting for since months. Provided, of course, that you are not on the extreme impatient side of life and did not purchase a Japanese copy beforehand.
Dark Souls 3, the latest accomplishment of From Software has been released today for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. On top of that, the Bandai team has released a trailer to commemorate such an event – and to tempt, why not, the hands of the undecided.
In this way comes the new installment of one of the most acclaimed action RPG titles of the last years. The trailer focuses on environmental wonders, perverted monsters and very juicy moments of its gameplay. It’s refined, brutal and it brings that aura of fatal destiny that accompanies those heroes who have been tasked with something nearly impossible to accomplish. “All will be revealed”, they tell us as a teaser and we want to know more. The adventure that Dark Souls 3 proposes is not for all players and certainly not for feeble hands. A look to the trailer is enough.
Dark Souls 3 takes us to a world called Lothric where Light and Darkness are fighting their everlasting conflict. In your hands is Ashen One, an undead warrior with an intricate job in his hands: averting the oncoming apocalypse brought by that fierce battle between the two principles. As with any Dark Souls game, one of the highlights will be the plethora of bosses. These are called the Lord of Cinder, previous heroes who have linked the First Flame across eons and now they want to give some trouble.
The gameplay design of the game follows the path laid by Dark Souls 2 although the combat and movements have been made faster and more fluid. We will experience new combat features and the enhanced role-playing system: building your character has more options than ever and so the tactical options you can get from tweaking and playing around with your weapons. As with the previous games in the series, Dark Souls 3 brings multiplayer elements. So do not despair: you can always find solace in watching your best friend dying one time after the other, completely helpless.
Some of the Fanaticals have to wait until this weekend to lay their hands on the game… If you are one of those, make sure you check our Epic Battles from the Dark Souls series article to keep on with the hype.
