E3 2012 | Top Five OMG Moments of E3

E3 is over and done with but the memories and impressions still remain. There have been those OMG moments and some not so stellar. Those lesser memories we can leave in the dust as we go through what made us go, “OMG” and screaming down the street like a little fangirl and fanboy.

5. Final Fantasy Tech Demo: LUMINOUS STUDIO and SquareEnix showed off what they both can do for not only the next generation of , but also for , PC and the Internet. The visuals are stunning and we can only hope for a killer game that uses this engine in the future.

4. Assassin’s Creed III: Connor is the newest hero in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and he means business. Both visuals and gameplay of Assassin’s Creed III are indeed sexy and impressive. Connor will not only be hunting Templars but also for food and he walks the land.

3. Beyond: Two Souls: Quantic Dream are at it again. This time with Beyond: Two Souls. This game will take a character’s emotion to a whole new level and will be yet another game to offer an intriguing story. Ellen Page plays Jodie Holmes who has always had a connection to “the other side”. and Quantic Dream are pushing the limits of what the Ps3 can do, which shows promise for the future. Seeing this makes me want a remake of Indigo Prophecy even more so than before.

2. Halo 4: A lot has changed since the original and 343 is bringing more change and what we love about Halo, into Halo 4. In the E3 video, it mixes the real with the computer generated, which feels a bit like watching an episode of Battlestar Galactica.

And now its time for a Reggie! break. There is no E3 without the wonderful expressions of Mister Reggie Fils-aime. The Nintendo portion of E3 was met with mixed reviews, but we all can agree, that Reggie can always make us smile. From letting us know that he is ready, to his facial expressions with ZombieU.

1. The Last of Us: Naughty Dog ended the Sony press conference with , a post-apocalyptic third person shooter, that is set to be one of the most anticipated games of 2013. The player takes control of Joel while Ellie assists as they make their way though Pittsburgh…The Last of Us is turning out to be one brutal game.

I have a Sony W230 camera, which worked perfectly fine for a few weeks but recently has started to malfunction by zooming in when I turn on the camera. When I want to use the camera I have to stand at a long distance from the subject.

Is there anyway I can fix this problem?

  2. We wouldn’t be experiencing Altair’s and Ezio’s history if it weren’t for Desmond visiting the Animus.
Are we gonna experience the third Assassin’s Creed without Desmond having to relive that part of history in the Animus?
I’m really confused, mainly because I have not even played Revelations yet. If my questions can be answered in Revelations, then say so.

  3. What the title says.

Or is it basically AC 2.5?
Forgot to add in the question:

I know they said it was going to be a trilogy, and that the story will continue. But will this take it “to the end”, or will they release another after this one?

i am very excited about AC III,the whole ubisoft is trying to create one of the biggest master pieces of all time, by far what i have seen ubisoft is comparing AC III with uncharted 3, so it just keeps bugging me that will it ever take the place of ACII or any other game, what are your opinions on the game?

  5. I was playing Brotherhood and remembered how fun AC is, so I was going to get the new one, but what is the difference between III and Revelations?

  6. For the people who count Brotherhood or Revelations as 3 and 4 it isnt, 3 is coming out Oct 30th, if you dont believe me watch the trailer.

But besides the steel case, what else can you get for pre-ordering Assassin’s Creed III?

  7. I know it comes out on October 30th in the US but sometimes game release dates are different for Canada. Is the release date still October 30th for Canada though?
I live in Ontario, Canada if that helps.
I’m also getting it for Xbox.

  8. Coz i can only buy 1 of them for P.C the only reason black ops II has advantage coz Multiplayer if AC3 have mutiplayer i would buy it so pls tell which should i buy and Will ac3 have multiplayer
