The Wolf Among Us Shall be Among Us on Friday

You all knew it was coming, and apparently it’s coming this Friday. Yeah, that’s right, The Wolf Among Us is dropping in two days on Xbox 360 and PC. Sorry to say, you PS3 enthusiasts will have to wait what Telltale is saying is “just a few days after the initial release goes live”.

If you frequent The Game Fanatics, you undoubtedly know what The Wolf Among Us is all about, but in case this is you’re new and don’t know yet: The game gives players control over Sheriff Bigby in an area of New York City called Fabletown. Check out our interview with the lead writer, Pierre Shorette:

This game is going to be five episodes (just like Telltale’s “The Walking Dead”) and is based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series, featuring numerous characters from a variety of well known fairy tales. Just, ya know… a bit grittier.

The Wolf Among Us is going to start at $4.99 per episode, and players can purchase a “season pass” (at least on Xbox Live) for $14.99… in addition to the first $4.99 for episode one. Basically, save $5 if you buy the season all in one go. Not a bad deal, that’s 20% off for those of you that don’t math. Compared to the $22.49 (10% off) that Steam users would have to pay to preorder the whole first season.

To hold you over till this Friday, we have your favorite thing in the world, trailers:
