Windows Phone 7 device Branded by Jill Sander

Lately there have been a bunch of fashion guru’s jumping on Cell Phones, and what I mean by jumping, is designing. I remember the days when a phone was completely blank, and the only thing customizable was the ringtone, and to make that happen you had to jump through five bazillion hoops, but now its common place. LG has been known to work with fashion brands (LG’s Prada phone being one of them), at least for those who purchased the device, or even knew it existed. News has come out today that LG will be teaming up with German fashion designer Jill Sander to produce the LG-E906.

Reports on  the device claim it will be running on Windows Phone 7’s Mango, and that’s about all we know for now. The phone itself (featured in the picture below) looks really sleek and sexy, but I don’t think I would buy a phone with someones name bill-boarded across the top of it like that. Not to mention the fact I don’t know who the heck Jill Sander’s even is. Most phones now a days do sport some type of fancy name along with it, and some of them do carry a hefty price tag. But seriously, I don’t think anyone would purchase a phone even if it came from a fashion guru and had its on carrying case, especially if it had that guru’s name splashed across the top of it. Then again people do buy stuff just to say they have it.
