LG Pushes 8K and Streaming at CES 2022

CES 2022 is off to an exciting start even though many of us have decided to participate virtually. One of the first press conferences we were able to see was from LG. Now there was a lot of information when it came to appliances and sanitation technology but for gamers and AV nerds, the new TV tech is what we came for. During the presentation, they talked about their new 8K displays that are great for gaming. Through a partnership with Nvidia, there will be G-Sync integrated into LG OLED screens. This is really impressive when you look back at how gaming worked when 4K displays were introduced. Initially, there was a problem with input lag but the technology LG is introducing allows a lot of customization when it comes to picture quality and response times.

On top of the performance of these devices, there will be integration with Twitch and Stadia. There were also some pretty cool-looking projectors and transparent displays. This year is looking really interesting when it comes to tech. Check out the full presentation below
