Weekly Gaming News – Journey, Rise of the Tomb Raider & Jurassic World!

This week’s Weekly Gaming News we discuss the re-release of Journey, the exclusivity of Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the upcoming sequel to Jurassic World.

The remastered edition of Journey has finally been released this week and as expected, has been exceeding all the expectations. The game is free for owners who own the PS3 version of the game, which can be downloaded from the PlayStation store. If its your first time hearing about it, go pick up the game for only $40 and experience its greatness first hand!

Now onto Rise of the Tomb Raider, the game has an expected release in 2015 exclusively with Microsoft. But it’s just been confirmed this week that the game will make an appearance on the PC in early 2016 and then on the PS4 during 2016’s holiday season. Any exclusive content that’s releasing with Microsoft won’t carry over to the PS4 or PC. Choose your consoles wisely and game on.

For all you Jurassic World fans out there, Universal has felt your excitement and have officially confirmed a sequel releasing in 2018. Steven Spielberg will act as the film’s executive producer on the upcoming film, while director of this latest blockbuster, Colin Trevorrow, will co-write the upcoming screenplay with Derek Connolly. The stars of the film, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, are confirmed to be returning to reprise their roles in this exciting film.

This is all for this weeks Weekly Gaming News! Hope everyone has a great weekend and thanks for tuning in!
