The Audeze Penrose is a Next-Gen Wireless Gaming Headset Designed for Audiophiles

During PAX East 2020 is when I first heard of Audeze and their products. Now many in gaming may not be too familiar with the name but if you are an audiophile, you should be well aware of who they are. They provide some of the go-to tech when it comes to music production and music consumption. You can find these products in some of the best producers’ and musicians’ studios (I believe Stevie Wonder uses them). Audeze produces some of the highest quality products on the market. This is why I was surprised when I heard that they were getting into the gaming arena.

The Audeze Mobius headset was the first piece of tech that I tried from the company. The sound quality of these headsets is superb and the head tracking technology that is a part of the headset is rare in gaming at the moment. The build quality was also something that I took note of during my demo. There is a lot of attention to detail that when into the production of this product.

As we inch closer to the release of the next generation of consoles, Audeze is already hard at work creating hardware to give the player a new level of sound quality and immersion. The Penrose and Penrose X wireless gaming headset is set to release sometime around September. With the Penrose headsets, you get the same high-quality sound and build quality in a wireless form. Some of the most notable features here are its super-low latency connection and Bluetooth capabilities. Even though this headset is marketed for the next-gen consoles, it will be compatible with the Xbox One, PS4, and PC as well. If you want to find out more information about Audeze and their multiple products, check out their site. If you pre-order the Penrose headset now, you can get 50 dollars off of the $299 retail price.
