Stellaris Brings a New Face of Galactic Strategy to All 4X Lovers

Stellaris

Stellaris, the last addition of Paradox to the world of Sci-fi strategic games, has taken off today. And they have done so with a trailer that speaks of galactic exploration and expanding empires.

These are good times for all those enthusiasts of strategy games with the futuristic touch. There’s no doubt about that as the catalog keeps on expanding month after month, like a supernova. Today we have another game to add to that list. Stellaris, the latest creation of Paradox Development Studio, has launched with all due honors and is already travelling at the speed of light.

Stellaris

Stellaris in a Nutshell

It may look modest at first glance; however, the world of Stellaris is everything but that. The game comes with all those things that will make your 4X heart tingle with joy. Imbued in a deep strategic gameplay, Paradox relies on an interesting combination between strategic elements and narrative ones. There is procedural generation and a rich selection of aliens that will surely spice up the surprise element as you traverse the galaxy, colonizing it and trying to create the most prosperous galactic community ever seen.

Of course, once our race gets away from the first baby steps and encounters the world of beyond, Stellaris will also be about important decisions. This is where the diplomacy and combat systems will start kicking in. Will you be on the diplomatic side or will we unleash war to ensure further smooth operations? On top of that, Stellaris features engineering schemes by which scientists will be able to unlock and expand new technologies that can be applied to our ships, logistics and warfare materials.

But beware of the cost of progress, folks at Paradox. “The expanses of the galaxy hold many dangers, as do your own advances at home…”

If you are interested in reading more about it, visit the Stellaris official website. And let the exploration begin!
