Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing Update Adds Knuckles and Shadow

The latest update announced by SEGA of America, Inc. and SEGA Europe Ltd. for iOS game Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing features additions and enhancements to make the exciting kart racing title even more appealing to fans of the speedy hedgehog franchise.

Version 1.2 touts the release of two new characters, Knuckles the Echidna and Shadow the Hedgehog. A new track called Sunfair has also been added to the vibrant collection of challenging routes. HDMI and Airplay video-out compatibility, data storage and sharing via iCloud, and in-game commerce support are among technical improvements.

Single-player mode now displays character faces in the mini-map to give players a visual of approaching opponents, while multiplayer mode shows Game Center profile pictures.

Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing is available for $1.99 in the App Store.
