If you missed the first beta from Monster Hunter: World or simply were left wanting for more, this is your chance. Capcom has confirmed that they are launching a second beta next week. The best part of it is that you don’t need a PS Plus subscription to enjoy it anymore.
The arrival of this beta is really timely because it will extend for the most part of the Christmas period. It’s kicking off on December 22 at 09:00 PT / 12:00 ET and ending on those times four days later, on December 26. If you cannot stand downloading times, you can already pre-load it from Monday onwards so it’s ready-to-go when the beta finally launches.
If you already played the first Monster Hunter: World beta you will not need any additional download since the contents of both testing phases are the same. At least, Capcom has not confirmed the existence of new features. As a recap, you’ll have access to 14 weapons and different missions that you can complete both alone or with your friends.
Monster Hunter: World is arriving worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26. The PC version still has a way to go although a release date has not been shared just yet. PlayStation 4 users will have some exclusive goodies as crossover content linked to Guerilla’s Horizon Zero Dawn. In upcoming free DLC, however, all other versions of the game will get interesting Mega Man-themed freebies and new monsters to hunt around.
Did you try the last Monster Hunter: World beta, Fanatics? If so, what impressions did you have while playing it? Will be the first taste you get from the game? Let us know!
