Discover Nine Parchments, The Next Game from Trine Creators

Nine Parchments

Frozenbyte, the Finnish studio that created the Trine trilogy, has just released Nine Parchments, their new game. Thanks to their Twitter account, we know that the game is already available via Steam for PC and Nintendo Switch players. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will arrive at a later stage. A definitive release date for these has yet to be confirmed though.

Nine Parchments is a co-op game for up to four players that takes place in a world of fantasy and wonder. If you have never seen the likes of it, we totally recommend you to watch their launch trailer below – enjoy!

Nine Parchments in a Nutshell

Nine Parchments is a co-operative “blast ’em up” game where we take the role of a group of apprentice wizards on the loose. These somehow clumsy would-bes embark on an epic journey to find the lost Nine Parchments, the key to complete their spellbooks. The game combines real-time action with RPG elements, so there’s plenty of ways to improve your character and become the greatest wonder-worker around.

After watching some gameplay videos, there’s definitely something of the original Trine in here. Which may be a big attraction for a lot of gamers. While the gameplay mechanics are rather different, the amiable characters and the colorful, expansive world will surely take you back to good memories.

Are you looking forward to Nine Parchments, Fanatics? Did you try any other Frozenbyte game before and if so, which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comment section down below.
