SC Conviction Insurgency DLC coming May 27

Ubisoft isn’t done with Sam yet, and neither will you. As they are preparing to release the new DLC pack “Insurgency” for Splinter Cell Conviction on May 27. Priced at 800MSP, both the PC and 360 versions will get the content. The PC content hasn’t been priced yet.The pack includes four new maps and co-op Deniable Ops missions for Archer and Kestrel, with an extra 250 Achievement points up for grabs.

London, UK- May 17th, 2010 – Ubisoft announced today that the Deniable Ops “Insurgency Pack” downloadable content (DLC) for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™ for the Windows® PC games and the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft will be available for download on May 27th, 2010. The DLC will be available for 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360, the PC price is yet to be confirmed.

The critically acclaimed Stealth-Action hit of the spring takes aim at Xbox LIVE® with additional content this month. The Insurgency Pack delivers brand-new missions for Archer and Kestrel on four additional maps for Deniable Ops modes. Take on challenges in Hunter, Face Off, Infiltration or Last Stand to unlock new achievements and play in settings from the docks of San Francisco to a New Orleans cemetery, a prison in Portland to a hidden research complex in Salt Lake City. Sam Fisher may have his conviction, but Black Arrow is still out there – waiting for him.

The achievements hunters will be glad to know that 250 new points can be unlocked in this DLC.
