With the game edging towards it’s release in a few months, Producer Hisashi Koinuma announced on the PlayStation Blog that Samurai Warriors 4 will be getting some awesome perks.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Samurai Warriors 4 will be getting a collectors pack known as Samurai Warriors 4: Special Anime Pack, This PlayStation 4 exclusive will come with a DVD of Samurai Warriors: Legend of the Sanada, an official original soundtrack CD of the game and DLC content that is said to expand the overall gameplay.
The Samurai Warriors series has been known as one of the superior hack-and-slash games that combines insight to the historical Sengoku Jidai era in Japan with flashy, entertaining and eye-catching special moves for all 56 characters in the game.
“Battles were waged within, as generals, officers and warriors fought to realize their ultimate vision of leading a unified country,” Koinuma said.
“This era was filled with betrayal, even between the most trusted alliances, with the outcome of powerful human emotions resulting in both beautiful and horrible consequences.”
Both the original and Special Anime Pack versions of Samurai Warriors 4 will be available on Oct. 21 for the PlayStation 4. You can get a peek at some of the characters in action in the video below.
