Chromebooks haven’t exactly taken the market by storm but that’s certainly not stopping manufactures from turning out new models each year. And with new information that’s recently come to light it appears Samsung may be bringing another one to market.
Yesterday, Evan Nelson Blass, known to many as @evleaks, unveiled an image teasing what could be the next Samsung Chromebook. Today he posted another image, this time showing the entire notebook. The images show that Samsung’s next Chromebook will be covered in a faux-leather skin.
This isn’t the first time Samsung has used faux-leather on their devices. Last year they introduced it with the Galaxy Note 3, and while rumors swirled of a leather-clad Galaxy S5 no such announcement came from last week’s Unpacked event.
Current estimates is that this Chromebook will be available in both 11.6 and 13.3 inch models and will feature a Samsgun Exynos 5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD. They are expected to start around $299. There’s currently no word around when Samsung may unveil this Chromebook publically, so we’ll just have to wait and see what may come.
