The Emmy-Award winning show gives a behind-the-scenes take on everyone’s favorite characters. Say what you will about PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (most of us here like it), but this is pretty cool. The popular stop-motion comedy show Robot Chicken has created a special 60-second spot that blends the unique style of Robot Chicken with some of PlayStation’s most iconic characters.
Stoopid Buddy Stoodios executive producer Matthew Senreich gave a comprehensive rundown on the PlayStation Blog, letting gamers know just how excited and honored the team was to work with these characters. The talented team, comprised of writers Douglass Goldstein, Mike Fasolo and Rachel Bloom with director Zeb Wells, shows what might happen in Sony’s break room. Nathan Drake and Kratos discuss losing to Sackboy, Sweet Tooth works on his focus, and Nariko suggests something to Jak. It will undoubtedly be a treat to fans of Robot Chicken’s strange style of comedy or long-time gamers. The short airs tonight at 10:00 p.m. Eastern/Pacific on Adult Swim.
