Rainbow Six: Siege "Tools of Attack" Video Trains Our Tactical Minds

Ubisoft has released a short, informative video covering the tactical gadgets and strategies that will be used in Ubisoft Montreal’s upcoming first-person shooter, Rainbow Six: Siege

“Attackers will have to breach the stronghold and eliminate the opposing team,” says Chase Straight, Community Manager at Ubisoft Montreal. “They’ll need to find weakness in the defense, create new entry points, and surprise the enemy using coordinated assault tactics.”

Straight continues to explain the importance of gadgets in Rainbow Six: Siege. Whereas Attackers will use drones, breach charges, and grapnel hooks to explore and infiltrate the enemy stronghold, Defenders will utilize barbed wire, reinforced wall units, and deployable shields in defending their position.

Since the video is a little short on information, head over to the game’s official site, where you’ll find heaps of details on gadgets and tactics that play an integral part in the Rainbow Six: Siege experience.

If you missed the this year’s E3 gameplay premiere, we’ve got you covered in the video below.

“Inspired by the reality of counter terrorist operatives across the world, Siege invites players to master the art of destruction,” the video’s blurb explains. “Intense close quarters confrontations, high lethality, tactics, team play, and explosive action are at the center of the experience.”

Rainbow Six: Siege is schedule to arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometimes in 2015. Here’s hoping the hiatus in the series will pay off once it arrives next year.
