Quiet Playable for Metal Gear Online in ‘Cloaked in Silence’ DLC

'Cloaked in Silence' DLC for Metal Gear Online featuring Quiet

On March 15th, Konami will release an expansion pack for MGS V’s Metal Gear Online, granting players access to three new maps, a new mode, and at long last, Quiet.

The three multiplayer maps are based on different locations found in the single player portion of the game’s campaign. Coral Complex comes from the Motherbase, an industrial environment full of storage containers and machinery. The Rust Palace takes place in Afghanistan within one large building with multiple floors and little cover. Azure Mountain is centered around a large, rocky formation in Africa called the Cradle of Spirits.

The ‘Cloaked in Silence’ expansion will also come with Quiet as a playable character. Like her campaign counterpart, Quiet can move very quickly around the map(s) and can leap to areas that would normally require a ladder to reach. What’s more, Quiet will also be able to move even faster while under an invisible cloak.

Last up is the newest mode coined “SURVIVAL.” In this mode, teams of 6 will attempt to string together as many wins as possible on randomly selected maps and mission objectives. Players who do not purchase the Cloaked in Silence DLC will still be able to play the new mode and new maps, but for a limited number of times (10 times per week; each week resetting on Tuesday).

Cloaked in Silence will be available to all Metal Gear Online players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
