First Part of Dungeon Defenders DLC Pack Now Available Free on European PlayStation Network

Trendy Entertainment, developer of the highly successful downloadable title Dungeon Defenders, announced today the release of the first part of The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards  on the European PlayStation Network. Due to delays regarding both the game and its DLC, both the developer and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) have agreed to release this first part completely free for all PSN players.

The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards Part 1: Mistymire Forest is the first of a four part series with each release including a new campaign map, a new PvP map and a new challenge mission with new story cinematics, enemies, new weapons and a new boss.

Since its launch in mid-October, Dungeon Defenders, a hybrid of tower defense and action-RPG elements, has sold over one million units across Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam. According to the official press release, the new content “…sets the stage for more adventures to be had in what was already a robust digital title.”
