Techland has released the opening cinematic trailer for their highly anticipated horror survival game, Dying Light.
Dying Light introduces players to Harran city, a city that has been affected with a deadly zombie plague. The city is put on quarantine and the result is the rise of a political battle for power between Harran’s Ministry of Defense and the Global Relief Effort- a privately funded international humanitarian organization. With the release of the the story teaser, players get a sort of glimpse into the world of Dying Light and the events that went down that set the game’s storyline in motion.
Players will take the role of Kyle Crane, an undercover operative who is tasked with entering the quarantine zone to contain the deadly plague. At first this infiltration mission seems morally clear, but over time Crane finds out that this might not be the case.
Dying Light is scheduled for release on January 27th, 2015 in the Americas and January 28th in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The game will be released on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the PC.
