New COD Infinite Warfare DLC, Absolution Hits PS4 July 6th

Gear Up And Return To The Front Line

Hardcore FPS multiplayer fans as well as owners of Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare season pass can look forward to the title’s third DLC pack to launch during the first week of July!

The latest piece of downloadable content for COD: Infinite Warfare, titled “Absolution,” has been confirmed and scheduled to arrive as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 4 on July 6th. No date is currently slated for the Xbox One and PC iterations, but expect them to arrive shortly after the exclusivity window. The Absolution DLC pack, much like it’s preceding DLC packs “Continuum” and “Sabotage”, will contain 4 new multiplayer maps as well as an extension to Zombies.

New online multiplayer maps include Ember – a remake of classic MW3 map ‘Resistance’, Bermuda – a shantytown built around the remains of an abandoned, crashed ship, Permafrost – a small, tight quarters map set in the chill of a frozen city skyline and Fore – a rather large miniature golf course multiplayer map.

“Attack of The Radioactive Thing” introduces a new Co-op Zombies experience adding a 1950s monster creature feature vibe. This new map will also feature the return of enigmatic movie director antagonist Willard Wyler, once again portrayed by actor Paul Reubens (of such films as Blow, Pee Wee, Gotham). “Attack of The Radioactive Thing” also includes the likeness and vocal talents of Cassandra Peterson (who recalls her popular role as horror movie icon Elvira for this DLC), as well as Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers), Ike Barinholtz (Suicide Squad, Neighbors 1&2), Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live) & Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer) all making returns.

Studio Head of infinity Ward, Dave Stohl, recently spoke about the upcoming Zombies Add-on

“Our team couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce another wild, twisted zombies experience in Attack of the Radioactive Thing!, which continues the story and adds some awesome new gameplay; For our multiplayer fans, we’re delivering four diverse maps that reward the different gameplay styles our community has embraced since the game launched last year. We can’t wait.”
