Microsoft Reveals Upcoming Free Xbox 360 Titles

As another month begins, Xbox Live Gold members will have a chance to download three Xbox 360 titles from the past. As part of Microsoft‘s initiative to reward their loyal subscribers, every month starting since E3 2013 in June, Xbox Live Gold members will receive two new free games on the first and sixteenth of every month.

CrackDown

The month of August begins with Crackdown, the open world third-person view shooter originally released in 2007. Crackdown takes place in a fictional city named Pacific City. You play as a biologically enhanced agent that uses melee, guns, and explosives to take down the gangs and crime lords of the city.

If that isn’t enough to keep you busy, August 16th Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be available for players to download giving members over $29.99 value. Dead Rising 2 was the hit sequel to the Xbox 360 exclusive Dead Rising, as players step into the shoes of Chuck Greene and take on hordes of zombies in Las Vegas. Dead Rising 2: Case Zero is the Xbox 360 exclusive DLC for Dead Rising 2 available only through the Xbox Live Marketplace which allows players to play as Frank West from the original Dead Rising, as he teams up with Chuck Greene after the events of Dead Rising 2 as they investigate the zombie outbreak and try to find the evidence to clear Chuck’s name.
