The game is called Mafia III: Rivals, comes from the studio Cat Daddy, and will arrive to stores on October 7. This is the same day when Mafia III launches for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
If you want to get some in-game bonuses with the shape of special characters or weapons, make sure you pre-register at their official website. These will come to your account when the game finally arrives. So far, Mafia III: Rivals is supposed to be free to play. However, there will surely be space for microtransactions and in-app purchases, similar to the ones of Fallout Shelter.
Mafia III: Rivals in a Nutshell
The game is described as a RPG title and it will be all about extending your power and dominance all over New Bordeaux. We’ll be able to build our own crime group via the acquisition of up to 40 crime lords, each of them with their own stats and special powers to level up. Like any Mafia game, expect a wide spectrum of weapons and cars to accompany and spice up your raids. The more possessions you amass, the bigger your name will be within New Bordeaux Hall of Fame. On top of that, Rivals will feature an online mode so you can test your mettle against other players around the world.
