Soulcalibur is a fighting series known for its special guest appearances within its line up. Soulcalibur 4 had Yoda and Darth Vader exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively, and Soulcalibur 5 looks to be no exception. Thanks to a screenshot provided by an anonymous source we can see Assassin’s Creed protagonist Ezio Auditore de Firenze will be a playable character in the next iteration of the famous fighting series.
We can only take this news with a grain of salt, as we have not gotten an official announcement from Namco Bandai Games the publisher behind Soulcalibur 5. We also don’t know if Ezio will be exclusive to a certain version of the game, or if he will be available to anyone playing it. Soulcalibur 5 is expected to launch sometime within the next year.
