Jump Into LawBreakers With Open Beta Event Starting Today

Lawbreakers

If you have missed the previous chances to play the gravity defying new shooter from Boss Key Productions then today is your lucky day. Starting today the LawBreakers beta is officially open to the public for PC players. The beta runs from 9am PST on June 30th until 9am PDT July 5th. The PC event is available to all gamers via Steam.

This LawBreakers beta includes a new map, new mode, and weapon stickers from its previous closed betas. The new map Vertigo is a “high-altitude reconnaissance outpost with near suborbital elevation.” The new game mode Uplink is essentially a capture the flag mode, but with a lot more fast paced gravity play. Players who complete 5 matches in the beta will earn exclusive stickers that will carry over to the full release of the game.

To coincide with the LawBreakers beta, NVIDIA has released a new driver package. The package promises to optimize code for the game. The latest 384.76 WHQL driver package will additionally have Game Ready status for the Spider-Man: Homecoming VR Experience; also launching on June 30th. Beyond the game optimization the driver will add a debut option to the Help menu in NVIDIA’s Control Panel, as well as a new SLI profile for FIFA 17.

If you haven’t played a LawBreakers beta up to this point you’ve been missing out on an addicting experience. The multiplayer FPS features gravity defying combat with a futuristic feel and a core focus on objective class based multiplayer. LawBreakers is set to be released on PlayStation 4 and PC on August 8th for $29.99 for the Core Edition and $39.99 for the Deadzo Deluxe Edition which will feature exclusive skins and weapon stickers.

Since this is open to the public the real test will be on their servers. Hopefully the demand will help get all systems ready to go by launch date. Let us know how you feel about the game during the beta. Have you been enjoying the LawBreakers beta with the new map and mode? Look out for more news on LawBreakers as release date approaches.
