Jak and Daxter Collection Announced, Coming February 2012

The Jak and Daxter Collection has been officially confirmed and announced thanks to an article posted on the PlayStation Blog. The Jak and Daxter Collection will feature three of the most beloved Jak and Daxter titles – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. All of the titles are being remastered in HD by Mass Media, working with a small team at Naughty Dog. The collection is scheduled to be released sometime in February of 2012 on the PlayStation 3.

With the release of this collection you’ll be able to experience all the great adventures Jak and Daxter have in 720p high definition with crisper visuals, smoother gameplay animation, and in full stereoscopic 3D. For those who love trophies SCEA has announced that each game in the trilogy will feature full PS3 trophy support. A trailer was also released along with this announcement and you can watch that below.
