Introducing A Valley Without Wind

If you were one of the lucky few who made there way to Las Vegas this year for the inaugural Minecraft convention then you should be well aware of A Valley Without Wind, if you weren’t then grab a seat and let me tell you all about it.

A Valley Without Wind is the brain child of indie developers Arcen Games, a PC indie developer behind the cult classic AI War: Fleet Command, named 40th best-reviewd PC game of the year by MetaCritic. Their current project is still in beta, but is already generating some strong hype. The game is an interesting blend of RPG and puzzle-platforming that has an interesting and stylistic art-style. For a better idea of what the game entails check out the most recent trailer:

Despite still being in beta it continues to evolve at a rapid pace, with new content and improvements added nearly every weekday as it progresses toward official launch in 2012. To get yourself in to the experience early you can head over to Arcen Games website and get a sweet 50% pre-order deal. As well as this it’s available from GamersGate, Impulse and MacGamesStore.
