Injustice: Gods Among Us Offering Free DLC For Fans

WB Games is giving you a shot at some freebies for their upcoming DC Comics fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Starting today and lasting for the next two months, fans who visit the Injustice: Gods Among Us website can vote in their new Battle Arena, which pits hero against hero, hero against villain, and villain against villain in one-on-one matches. Fan votes determine the winner, and those who won have the chance to win some free DLC for the upcoming game. Developers Netherrealm Studios also officially unveiled Bane as the newest addition to the character roster, although we’d already reported that earlier this month, and we get a peek at Doomsday at 43 seconds into this new video.

For those unaware, Injustice: Gods Among Us focuses on an alternate future for the DC Universe in which Superman, Wonder Woman, and other members of the Justice League decide to take over the world after a cataclysmic event hits Metropolis. The story is already receiving high praise and anticipation for the title, which hits the Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on April 16th. It comes in three versions: a standard edition for $60, a Collector’s Edition for $100 that includes a statue of Batman and Wonder Woman as well as a free movie and Injustice comic book, and a Battle Edition that includes all of that plus an arcade joystick.
