WB Games and Netherrealm Studios‘ upcoming DC Comics fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, is continuing to build hype with the announcement of a demo for excited gamers.
The announcement came down this morning that the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live stores will be getting a demo of the anticipated fighting game, which features a storyline that explores what would happen if Superman and the Justice League decided to take over the world, on April 2nd for North American PlayStation 3 users and April 3rd for everyone else.
The announcement also comes with a new trailer, showcasing the latest playable character to be revealed: Shazam! nemesis Black Adam, seen in the video provided to Joystiq below.
An interesting side note of today’s announcement, however, is that there is currently no demo coming to the Wii U. Couple that with the silence there’s been in regards to questions surrounding whether or not the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us will even get DLC – Nintendo says it will, eventually, but WB Games is saying otherwise – makes one wonder if you should just stick to the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions… I know I, personally, am considering changing my pre-order over to the PS3 version.
